October 23, 2015, I took my vehicle to a transmission shop that I was told "was the best n the area."

After much patience, four weeks later, and $2,700, I received it back with a one-year warranty.

January 19, 2016, less than 2,950 babied miles later (read: zero off-road use), and within 30 yards of the first breakdown, the transmission went out a second time. Being under warranty, back to the shop it went.

When I called for an update three weeks ago, the owner told me the parts had been ordered and would be in on Monday.

The next three times I called, no one bothered to return my call.

One week ago (four weeks in), while talking to a worker rather than the owner, I found that my vehicle was to be put on the rack that Monday to find out what was wrong...(I thought the parts were already ordered?). He assured me it should be complete Tuesday - Wednesday at the latest.

Today, Friday, almost five weeks later, I was able to take it home.

I don't know about most of you, but I don't have four-to-five weeks at a time that I can be without a vehicle.

I really like this vehicle, but this entire ordeal has made me skeptical of its reliability, or how long their work will hold up before I have to spend this amount of time without a way of going again.
