Chalet Valley Apartments at 1809 Shadow Lane, Dalton, Georgia.

We rented here for 2 years. There was mold in the ceilings, water leaking from upstairs, both doors kept sticking and were hard to open, and my son's room had massive water issues any time it rained. Despite that we always paid our rent on time and never gave them any issue. Upon moving out we were told it would be about 30 days to receive our deposit which was fine. Fast forward a month and a half and still no deposit. I place a call and apparently the building sold and the previous owners sent the check to the apartment despite having a forwarding address for us. It's now 2 months after moving out and we still have not received the deposit as it has been returned to them. Very annoyed at the laziness of the owners to return our money. They would have had no problem evicting us if we were that late on rent.
